Custom golf club engraving is the process of permanently etching artwork into the metal surface your club using precision fiber laser technology. At Show Out Engraving, each design is created specifically for the geometry of the club head. We specialize in engraved golf wedges, commissioned artwork, and limited design series.

Yes. Engraved golf wedges make unique and highly personal gifts for tournaments, retirements, birthdays, weddings, corporate awards and all other special occasions.

No. Engraving is applied to the back of the club head and does not alter grooves, face milling, or performance characteristics (unless specifically requested).

Yes. We use industrial fiber laser engraving that permanently alters the metal surface. It will not peel, chip, or fade.

Yes. You can ship your golf club directly to our studio in Gilbert, Arizona. Once received, we confirm arrival and begin the design or engraving process.

We regularly engrave wedges from major manufacturers including Titleist, Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade, Vice Golf and 69 Golf. If you are unsure about your specific model, contact us before ordering.

Ship your club securely packaged in a padded box. Pro tip: Ask your local golf shop for a used golf club box - they will likely have them. We recommend using a trackable and insured carrier. Once your club arrives at our Gilbert, Arizona studio, you will receive confirmation.

Yes. We recommend insuring your shipment for the replacement value of the club. While we handle all clubs with care once received, shipping carriers are responsible during transit.

Completed clubs are securely packaged and returned via insured shipping. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

If damage occurs during shipping to our studio, any claim must be filed with the carrier used. We recommend retaining your shipping receipt and insurance documentation.

After your order is placed and your club is received, we begin concept development. You will receive artwork for review before engraving starts.

If engraving has not yet begun, adjustments may be possible. Once engraving is complete, custom work is final sale.

Yes. Engraving may alter or remove portions of the factory finish on the back of the club head. This is necessary to achieve proper contrast, depth, and clarity in the artwork.

After engraving, the metal is annealed to stabilize the surface and enhance durability. The engraved area is then sanded, buffed, and polished. Finally, the surface is sealed with crystalline wax to provide an added layer of protection.

Most modern wedges are made from stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant. While stainless steel is far less prone to rust than carbon steel, surface discoloration can occur if moisture is left on the club for extended periods. Proper care minimizes this risk.

After play, wipe the club dry before storing. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Occasional reapplication of protective wax can help maintain the finish and preserve contrast.

If minor surface oxidation or discoloration occurs, it can typically be addressed by lightly polishing the affected area using a Dremel with a radial bristle disc attachment (approximately 220 grit recommended) and reapplying crystalline wax for protection. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact us before attempting restoration.

Yes. When factory finishes are modified as part of the engraving process, the change is permanent. Custom engraved clubs are final sale.

Yes. In most cases, the club head is professionally removed from the shaft to allow for proper engraving access, surface preparation, and finishing. This ensures precision and protects the shaft from heat exposure.

The club head is carefully heated to soften and release the epoxy bond. This is a standard method used in professional club repair and reshafting. We use controlled heat and proper tools to safely separate the components.

No. After engraving and finishing are complete, the club head is reinstalled using high-strength epoxy and proper alignment techniques. The structural integrity and playability of the club are preserved.

We make every effort to preserve the existing ferrule during the heating and removal process. However, in some cases, the ferrule may become compromised due to heat exposure. If that occurs, a clean factory-style ferrule replacement will be installed during reassembly.

Yes. If a ferrule becomes compromised during the removal process, replacement is handled as part of the service.

While damage during engraving is extremely rare, we stand behind our work and take full responsibility for any club damaged while in our care. If a new club is damaged during the engraving process, we will replace it at 100% of the original cost. If a used club is damaged during the engraving process, reimbursement will be issued based on the current fair market value of that club model and condition.

Market value is determined based on current resale data and comparable listings for the same make, model, and condition at the time of the claim.
